Creatively Planning Narratives (Stories) is an important part of being creative as students write. Story writing can be creative and important in amplifying student voices.
Class instructions: 1. Use a framework of a the Beginning, Middle and End. 2. Remember to plan out your main character, the setting of the story. 3. Be creative with the main ideas as you use your comic to be creative in teaching others. 4. Have fun with your Problem and Solution. 5. Finally, Read over and edit your work.
Teacher instructions: Teach by picture walking through examples of a picture book to showcase parts of a story that makes it dynamic to readers. Teach: how to develop a character, consider the main idea, format with a problem and solution. Ensure that all writing aspect comes with a creative insights driven by student interest.
