**Brief Description:**  Students will learn about the importance of taking care of their health.

**Know Before You Start:** This lesson works well as part of an overall unit about making healthy choices.

**Hook:**

- Read and discuss the sample comic. 
- Discuss ways to live a healthy lifestyle, e.g., eating well, exercising, visiting the doctor for checkups, having supportive relationships, etc.

**Activity:**

- Have students create a three-panel comic demonstrating their understanding of ways to maintain their health. 
- Each panel should include a character making a healthy choice. 

**Closure:**

- Have students share their finished comics with a partner or in groups.

**Differentiation:**

- Allow students to use speech-to-text feature.
- Allow students to work in pairs or groups as needed.
- Provide a handout with a list of healthy choices.
