Know Before You Start: Students should be familiar with some of the key coding vocabulary.
Hook:
- Read and discuss the sample comic. Can students identify the coding term being referred to?
Activity:

Students will have a choice of key coding vocabulary words to define, e.g., command, algorithm, loop, bug, debug.

Using the sample comic as a guide, have students create a three-panel comic featuring three vocabulary words of their choice.

In each panel students can define the coding term, or phrase it as a question, like the sample comic.
Closure:
- Students will share their favorite word comic panel with a partner.
Differentiation:
- Allow students to use the speech-to-text feature.
- Allow students to use the voiceover feature to read their comics aloud.
- Allow students to work in pairs or groups as needed.

Use "Think-Pair-Share" strategy during whole group discussion.
